In the past I have been vegan and various forms of vegetarian. At the moment I am gradually incorporating more and more raw food into my diet. I am not vegetarian or vegan but I only eat a very small amount of meat and dairy. I limit how much wheat and gluten I eat, as I feel better when I don’t eat it every day. I am also lactose intolerant.
When my eldest son was 2 (he is now 5), having had lots of upset tummies, I put him on a diet free from gluten, wheat, dairy, yeast and oats. Over the years I have experimented with different recipes trying to modify them to suit my son's dietary requirements. He is now back to eating all foods and he seems to be coping mostly well. I have had him on high strength probiotics on and off and believe this has helped him to adjust to "normal" eating again.
I think the biggest lesson I have learnt along the way, and am still coming to terms with, is that everybody is different and at different stages of health and interest in becoming healthier. Not everybody will thrive on the same diet and my way is not the best and only way to eat. Although sometimes I wish it were that simple!
On my journey I have tried many different products and supplements and for the last 5 years I have been using the Miessence range of products. They are certified organic and I love using them and I also promote and sell them. They contribute to a significant reduction of chemicals in my home and my family's bodies which is critical to health and wellbeing. To see the product range go to www.eternalharmony.com
